Avenida Carvalho Araújo - architecture by Belém Lima and engineering design by NRV - is nominated for Mies Van der Rohe awards!
The prize that features the most notable architecture in Europe, highlights this project which involved an investment of around 2 million euro, financed mainly by European funds (PEDU). This transformation allowed the city's main artery to become a more human, accessible and sustainable space, giving priority to pedestrian mobility and public space.
