In the area of Transport Engineering are considered studies for linear transport infrastructures: roads and railways.
Road infrastructures have been present in the company's activity since the early years and with special emphasis. NRV participated in most of the road concession projects in Portugal and over the past 20 years has participated in relevant works in several countries, in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
As for railway infrastructures, the company participated in the first studies for high-speed rail in Portugal, and in several contracts for the design of new railways and the rehabilitation of existing infrastructures.
